Home Inspection Standards of Practice

Your Virginia Beach home inspection
A Safe House Property Inspection is an in-depth visual examination of the structure and major systems of the home. Your home inspection will take 2 to 4 hours depending on the size of the home to insure that there are no post purchase surprises. My job as a home inspector is analogous to that of a general medical practitioner finding something wrong with their patient, and then recommending a specialist if one is needed. If the home has issues that need to be handled prior to the sale I will be able to let you know what needs to be done.
You will receive a comprehensive home inspection report that details the visible major or minor deficiencies of the home. Your report will detail any deficiencies and concerns as well as have clear pictures of the issues being described. Your report will also let you know what expenditures may need to be budgeted for in the future. You will also receive a copy of "Now that you've had a HOME inspection..." to prepare you for what you need to know as a homeowner. Make sure your Virginia Beach home inspection is a Safe House Property Inspection.
Included in the home inspection will be a review of any concerns or issues that you have regarding the home. At the conclusion of the home inspection I will discuss with you any issues with the home and how they may affect safety or performance in the home. There are no perfect homes, but there are always solutions to issues that may be discovered. I will point you in the right direction in order for you to be able to make the appropriate decision for you and your family. You will receive a comprehensive easy to understand report that includes an understandable description of the homes issues. The report will also include many photos with descriptions that will help further define any issues or defects that may be present. Once the inspection has ended, you can be assured that our relationship has not. I will be available to answer questions about your home or point you in the right direction to address any concerns you may have. You will receive emails periodically to remind to about home maintenance that will help you prevent expensive repairs in the future. I am dedicated to being your advocate for peace of mind in your home buying process. I appreciate you allowing me to be a vital member of your home purchase team.
