Water heater flue

 As a home inspector in Virginia Beach I get to travel all over the seven cities of Hampton Roads. During the inspection of the water heater exhaust flue pipe in Hampton, Virginia I found an improper installation. The flue pipe bends down then goes on a downward run. The flue needs rise 1/4 per foot to allow for adequate draft.
